Privacy Policy

The Versus app does not collect anything.

There is no account, analytics, advertising, tracking or server. Nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere because the app has no way to send it.

The short version

Versus shows two of your photos and asks which you prefer. It does that entirely on your iPhone. Your photographs and choices never leave the device.

What the app accesses

If you grant full photo access, Versus can show your Library and Albums inside the app, display the photos you select, and save a ranked album. If you do not grant full access, you can still choose individual photos and rank them.

Versus asks only for photo access. One permission allows it to read the library. A related permission allows it to add photos or an album. You can refuse either and still rank photos.

What stays on your device

  • An unfinished run, including photo references and the choices you made, so you can continue later.
  • Local copies of photos chosen without full library access. They are replaced by the next selection and excluded from device backups.
  • One running average of how long your taps take, used only to estimate the time for a run.
  • Two small flags that remember whether you have seen the first-use tour and explanation.

What the app may change

  • It can create an album containing the photos you ranked if you allow it.
  • It can ask to delete photos you personally passed over. You choose every photo, approve the action, and then receive the system confirmation. Versus cannot delete by itself.
  • It can show a Lock Screen activity with the number of photos and your progress. It never shows a photograph.

What the app does not do

  • No accounts or sign-in.
  • No analytics, crash reporting or usage measurement.
  • No advertising or advertising identifiers.
  • No third-party code.
  • No network requests.

If you contact support

Support email happens outside the app. Migadu receives the email address, message and attachments you choose to send so we can reply. The Versus app does not collect them.

Translation tools may help us understand the text and draft a reply. We remove email addresses, signatures and personal details that are not needed first. We never upload an attachment or photograph to a translation tool. A person reviews every reply. You can ask us to delete a support conversation.

How you can check

Turn on Airplane Mode. The app behaves the same because it never needed the network.

Open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Photos to see or change exactly what you granted.

Children

The app has no accounts, collects nothing, and has no content feed, chat or in-app purchase.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever gains a feature that uses the network, this page will explain the change before that version ships.
